College Ends Support for Samaritan's Purse 9 Jan 2004 Bilborough College in Nottingham has confirmed today that they will not be supporting Samaritan's Purse in the future. IACN contacted the college after it was brought to our attention by a student that Bilborough College was actively supporting 'Operation Christmas Child'. Samaritan's Purse is run by Franklin Graham, the hatemonger with a history of anti-Islam comments such as describing Islam as "an evil and wicked religion". The organisation exploits human suffering around the world to further their agenda. Establishments including 10 Downing Street, Co-Op, South Wales Fire Service and Asda amongst many others have already retracted their support after Samaritan's Purse was exposed to them. Commenting on this, Dorothy Mountford the Vice Principal of Bilborough College said "we supported Samaritan's Purse in all good faith not knowing about this. We will certainly not support them in the future".
