Today could be the day of judgement - ACT NOW!

Friday 16 January 2004

The BBC could be making their decision on the Kilroy affair today, as reported by The Times.  The BBC has hinted that the opinion of the general public will play an enormous role in their decision.  So far the BBC has received around 7000 telephone calls, most of them supporting Kilroy.

How did this happen? Simple, while most of us did not even bother to make a simple telephone call, Kilroy's supporters were working actively.

Initially the ratio of the calls to the BBC was around 7 - 1 in favour of Kilroy.  It has now dropped to around 3 - 1 as many of us realise our negligence and pick up the phone.

Do NOT ignore this alert and think that someone else will do it, that someone may also be thinking the same.  Stand up for justice, NOW!

Call the BBC on 0870 010 0222 and register your complaint (0044 870 010 0222 if you are calling from outside UK)

Highlight the following when you make the call:

- Whether or not Kilroy meant it he has lost his impartiality and as such is not suitable to host any talk show

- Racism does not fall under freedom of speech

- Robert Kilroy-Silk has a history of anti-Muslim and anti-Arab slurs

- He does not differentiate between those who may have perpetuated a crime and the ordinary people instead he marginalises all the Arabs/Muslims

- BBC is a publicly funded body and must not be seen as supporting hate-filled bigots like Kilroy

- By employing Kilroy-Silk, BBC is endorsing Kilroy's racist & Islamophobic views

This call will only take you a few minutes and after you have done it you will be amazed at how easy it was.

REMEMBER: Make sure you ask them to log the call and give you a Complaint number (also known as Case number)

If your fathers, your sons, your brothers, your wives, your kindred, the wealth that you have gained, the commerce in which you fear a decline, and the dwellings in which you delight ... are dearer to you than Allah and His Messenger, and striving hard and fighting in His Cause, then wait until Allah brings about His Decision (torment). And Allah guides not the people who are Al-Fasiqun (the rebellious, disobedient to Allah). [Quran 9:24]
