We have been contacted by some concerned individuals from the Sheffield Hallam University highlighting an increase in neo-Nazi activities.
This has included pro-fascist posters being displayed around campuses and anti-racist students being subjected to intimidation and threats from groups including Combat 18.
The Sheffield Hallam University has a legislation condemning the BNP as racist and has anti-racism guidelines. However we would like a guarantee that any person guilty of spreading race hate or Islamophobia will be subjected to immediate disciplinary procedures.
Action to be taken
Contact the Vice Chancellor Professor Diana Green and request that the Sheffield Hallam University reinforces its anti-racism guidelines and ensure that anyone guilty of spreading racism or Islamophobia will be subjected to immediate disciplinary procedures. Remember to be polite but assertive.
