a Don't let Kilroy get away!
Robert Kilroy-Silk, the BBC morning chat show host has sparked an international outrage after his mindless attack on Arabs in his article entitled "We owe Arabs nothing". It said: "Apart from oil - which was discovered, is produced and is paid for by the west - what do they contribute? Can you think of anything? Anything really useful? Anything really valuable? Something we really need, could not do without? No, nor can I." "What do they think we feel about them?" it continued. "That we adore them for the way they murdered more than 3,000 civilians on September 11 and then danced in the hot, dusty streets to celebrate the murders?" He went on to imply that all 200 million Arabs were "suicide bombers, limb-amputators, women repressors" (read his full article at the bottom of this E-mail) This attack simply adds to his already impressive portfolio of anti-Arab/anti-Muslim rants such as:
“they (Muslims) are
backward and evil, and if it is being racist to say so then I must be and
happy and proud to be so”
“Moslems everywhere behave with equal savagery. They behead criminals, stone to death female – only female – adulterers, throw acid in the faces of women who refuse to wear the chadar, mutilate the genitals of young girls and ritually abuse animals.” [The Daily Express, 16th January 1995]
Taking the appropriate course of action, the BBC has suspended Kilroy’s programme while it investigates the matter.
Meanwhile we continue to witness a barrage of propaganda by some media outlets aimed at pressurising the BBC into reinstating Kilroy’s programme while at the same time further dehumanising the Arab and Muslim peoples.
As part of this propaganda campaign, two main points are being used in an attempt to digress from the real issue. The first point is suggesting that Kilroy was only referring to ‘Arab states’ and not ‘Arabs’. The second point is raising the issue of ‘freedom of speech’ in order to justify Kilroy’s racist comments. Both points are baseless and simply an attempt to fool the public and turn Kilroy-Silk into a martyr.
Alhamdulillah many Muslims took action after our first alert. However according to the Guardian newspaper, calls to the BBC were running 7-1 in favour of Kilroy at the beginning of the weekend, but this figure had fallen to 3-1 yesterday (alhamdulillah) but we are still losing the battle.
It is imperative that you act NOW! We talk too much and do too little. Allah hates this as He says:
“O you who believe! Why do you say that which you do not do? Most hateful it is with Allah that you say that which you do not do.” [Quran 61:2-3]
If your fathers, your sons, your brothers, your wives, your kindred, the wealth that you have gained, the commerce in which you fear a decline, and the dwellings in which you delight ... are dearer to you than Allah and His Messenger, and striving hard and fighting in His Cause, then wait until Allah brings about His Decision (torment). And Allah guides not the people who are Al-Fasiqun (the rebellious, disobedient to Allah). [Quran 9:24]
Course of action
Call the BBC now on 0870 010 0222 and register your complaint. Highlight the following when you make the call:
- Whether or not Kilroy meant it he has lost his impartiality and as such is not suitable to host any talk show - Racism does not fall under freedom of speech - Robert Kilroy-Silk has a history of anti-Muslim and anti-Arab slurs - He does not differentiate between those who may have perpetuated a crime and the ordinary people instead he marginalises all the Arabs/Muslims - BBC is a publicly funded body and must not be seen as supporting hate-filled bigots like Kilroy - By employing Kilroy-Silk, BBC is endorsing Kilroy's racist & Islamophobic views
REMEMBER: Make sure you ask them to log the call and give you a Complaint number (also known as Case number)

By Allah if you fail to take action then you will only have yourself to blame when someone spits at your sister or mother; or pulls off her hijab.

ORIGINAL ARTICLE
We owe
Arabs nothing
Robert Kilroy-Silk, Express on Sunday, 4th Jan 2004
After all, the Arab countries are not exactly shining examples of civilisation, are they? Few of them make much contribution to the welfare of the rest of the world. Indeed, apart from oil - which was discovered, is produced and is paid for by the West - what do they contribute? Can you think of anything? Anything really useful? Anything really valuable? Something we really need, could not do without? No, nor can I. Indeed, the Arab countries put together export less than Finland. We're told that the Arabs loathe us. Really? For liberating the Iraqis? For subsidising the lifestyles of people in Egypt and Jordan, to name but two, for giving them vast amounts of aid? For providing them with science, medicine, technology and all the other benefits of the West? They should go down on their knees and thank God for the munificence of the United States. What do they think we feel about them? That we adore them for the w ay they murdered more than 3,000 civilians on September 11 and then danced in the hot, dusty streets to celebrate the murders? That we admire them for the cold-blooded killings in Mombasa, Yemen and elsewhere? That we admire them for being suicide bombers, limb-amputators, womenrepressors? I don't think the Arab states should start a debate about w hat is really loathsome. But why, in any case, should we be concerned that they feel angry and loathe us? The Arab world has not exactly earned our respect, has it? Iran is a vile, terrorist-supporting regime - part of the axis of evil. So is the Saddam Hussein-supporting Syria. So is Libya. Indeed, most of them chant support for Saddam. That is to say they support an evil dictator who has gassed hundreds of thousands of their fellow Arabs and tortured and murdered thousands more. How can they do this and expect our respect? Why do they imagine that only they can feel anger, call people loathsome? It is the equivalent of all the European nations coming out in support of Hitler the moment he was attacked by the US, because he was European, despite the fact that he was attempting to exterminate the Jews - and Arabs. Moreover, the people who claim we are loathsome are currently threatening our civilian populations with chemical and biological weapons. They are promising to let suicide bombers loose in Western and American cities. They are trying to terrorise us, disrupt our lives. And then they
expect us to be careful of their sensibilities? This shows what their own people think of the Arab regimes, doesn't it? There is not one single British asylum seeker in any Arab country. That says it all about which country deserves the epithet loathsome.
